How to report copyright infringement on SquadSpace, and how counter-notices work.

Updated Draft · August 2026 Effective 1 February 20265 min read

In plain terms

We respect intellectual property. If your work appears on SquadSpace without permission, send our designated agent a takedown notice with the required details and we’ll act on it. If your content was removed by mistake, you can file a counter-notice.

01Reporting infringement

If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent including:

  • Your signature (physical or electronic) as the owner or authorized agent.
  • Identification of the copyrighted work.
  • The URL or location of the allegedly infringing material.
  • Your contact details.
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act.

02Designated agent

Send notices to Ajay Shenoy at dmca@www.squadspace.co, Tokyo, Japan.

03Counter-notice

If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or misidentification, you may send a counter-notice to the same agent with: your signature; identification of the removed material and its prior location; a statement under penalty of perjury of good-faith belief the removal was a mistake; and your consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate court. We may restore the content unless the complainant files suit.

04Repeat infringers

We terminate the accounts of repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances.

05Trademarks

For trademark concerns, contact legal@www.squadspace.co.
