How to exercise your privacy rights, wherever you live.
In plain terms
You can ask us to show you, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email us and we’ll respond within the timelines your law requires — typically within a month.
01Your rights
Depending on your location you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate data.
- Delete your data (“right to be forgotten”).
- Export your data in a portable format.
- Restrict or object to certain processing.
- Withdraw consent you previously gave.
02How to make a request
Email privacy@www.squadspace.co from the address associated with your account, describing what you’d like. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We’ll respond within the period your law requires — one month under GDPR, 45 days under the CCPA — and tell you if we need more time.
03EEA & UK (GDPR)
You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We don’t make solely-automated decisions with legal effects about you.
04California (CCPA/CPRA)
You have rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information. We do not sell or share your personal information as those terms are defined. We won’t discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
05Japan (APPI)
You may request disclosure, correction, or cessation of use of your personal data held by us, consistent with the APPI (Act on the Protection of Personal Information).
